Asociația unDAverde and Fundația Comunitară Mureș work for augmenting the quality of the public spaces in Tirgu Mureș. The public space is an essential resource in the city and it may be used in an economic, useful and pleasant way for its inhabitants.

We raise the problem of the human scale in times when cities from entire world apply principals of traffic calming and increasing the mobility safety. The transport alternatives – public transport, the bike, walking, increase the urban vitality and the quality of urban life. Thus the public space is able to accomplish the needs of the people and less the needs of the cars.

”When the motorised traffic appeared the competition for the public space has suddently exploded. The life conditions of the pedestrians began to lack dignity year after year.” (Jan Gehl – architect, Copenhaga, Danemarca)
